8th World Water Forum 2018. Brasilia

The World Water Forum is the world’s biggest water-related event and is organized by the World Water Council (WWC), an international organization that brings together all those interested in the theme of water. Its mission is “to promote awareness, build political commitment and trigger action on critical water issues at all levels, to facilitate the efficient conservation, protection, development, planning, management and use of water in all its dimensions on an environmentally sustainable basis for the benefit of all life on Earth”.

The Forum will begin on March 17, at 10 am, with the opening of the Fair and Citizen Village, located at Mané Garrincha National Stadium. There will be free events for the general public.

The Expo will open on March 18, at 4 pm, to patrons attending the sessions. Lectures will begin on March 19, the 8th Forum’s official opening day, at around 9 am.

The 8th Forum’s sessions will take place during business hours, between 9 am and 6 pm. The Citizen Village and the Fair will be open at night too.

The closing ceremony will be held on March 23, in the morning
